Haydenfilms Institute

Abstract

HFI is a growth-oriented 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our vision is to become a globally-recognized, full-service film resource with specialties in education and production. Through the creation of original programming and concepts, HFI will serve as an authority to filmmakers worldwide. We will be an alternative choice because of our focus on student and independent content, rather than commercialization. HFI will collaborate on projects with local businesses, nonprofits, and educational institutions, establishing a close relationship with the community. HFI’s innovative programs and the Haydenfilms Online Film Festival shall provide a network to connect filmmakers with the stories, talents, and ideas of their peers from around the globe.

Who is your customer?

HFI will collaborate on projects with local businesses, nonprofits, and educational institutions, establishing a close relationship with the community.

What problem does this idea/product solve or what market need does it serve?

Our software, designed to aid organizations who raise awareness about healthy lifestyles, will generate opportunities for clientele of those organizations to act upon healthy lifestyle choices.

What attributes will make this idea/product successful? Why do you believe that those features will create success?

Our software development team has innovated a content distribution mechanism that will give organizations, institutions and communities a means to control their media libraries with autonomy, deliver their content without distracting content-pollution, and monetize their content through a flexible advertising component. This software functions similar to the way Youtube functions, except it gives the user greater control over their content.

Explain how you (your team) will execute to make this idea/product successful? What gives you (your team) an advantage over others already in the market or new to this market?

Our project is extremely unique in that we are targeting small organizations that promote a healthy community with our educational component, which we are calling The Youth Media Initiative. Leveraging the Haydenfilms Online Film Festival brand recognition, we will be able distribute these locally produced videos in regional campaigns that have international reach because of the borderless virtual world our software can create.
